You may have noticed some big puddles in alleyways and along streets near construction sites at Baseline. That’s because there are erosion control devices covering the drains to prevent excess dirt and construction pollutants from entering our local creeks, rivers and streams. Management of pollutants is in compliance with Broomfield’s Keep It Clean ‘Cause We Are All Downstream program.
Unfortunately, while both higher-than-normal rainfall and construction are happening, these puddles will exist. But, water levels are monitored and drainage is managed multiple days each week.
If you notice a puddle becoming large enough to cause property damage or if it has not been maintained for several days, please contact your Community Life team so we may inform the appropriate party
