Meet BECCA’s new councilperson – Baseline Resident Website

Join us in welcoming Sue Rovito to the board of council for Baseline Enrichment and Community Collaboration Assembly. She ran uncontested for the resident seat and will therefore be appointed to the position and start her term at the special owners’ meeting on July 18.

How long have you lived in Baseline and why are you interested in serving on the BECCA Board of Council?

I am a recent transfer to Colorado, having most recently lived on the Eastside of the Seattle; we purchased our Baseline home in December of 2022. I am interested in serving on the BECCA Council Board in order to continue to engage residents in community-wide activities for a range of ages and interests and to meet new friends. We already have had numerous wonderful Baseline events and I would love to see that continue to grow as our community does.

What makes you uniquely qualified for the councilperson position?

My qualifications include being organized, inquisitive, attentive, interested, communicative, collaborative and engaged.

What is your educational background and work experience?

I have a Master’s Degree in Nursing and was employed in Philadelphia as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. I now work remotely as a Senior Manager of Clinical Educators for Syneos Health. I manage 18 nurses in a large territory who do in-person and virtual injection trainings for patients on rare disease injectable medications.

How many BECCA Board of Council meetings have you attended since residing in the community?

One council meeting and many events.

What do you consider to be the number one challenge facing the BECCA today?

We have an engaged community and I would love to help facilitate tapping into the skills and interests of the residents to form more clubs (walking, hiking, biking, card and/or board games, coffee, world event discussions, sustainability, etc).
