Design Review

If you’re planning to make a change or modification to the exterior of your home, you must obtain prior approval from Baseline’s Design Review Committee. Although a planned modification may be congruent with Baseline’s design guidelines, residents must always obtain approval from the Committee before beginning a modification project.

How to submit an application

It's a three-step process

1. Review the design guidelines that apply to your village.

They include minimum standards for the design, size, location, style, structure, materials, color, mode of architecture, and mode of landscaping; they also include relevant criteria for the construction or addition of improvements of any nature.

2. Submit your application.

Be sure to include as much detail as possible, including product photos, plant list, architectural plan, and plot plan.

3. Wait for approval, before you start

Avoid costly errors, wait for approval by the Design Review Committee before you start your project.
