MAY DAZE 2026

MAY DAZE 2026

The day the bayou came to Baseline.

On May 9, Baseline added a new community tradition to our annual lineup — a Louisiana-style crawdad boil and cornhole tournament called “May Daze.” Over 125 residents attended, many to try crawfish for the first time.

Local bluegrass band, Mighty Holler, helped set the afternoon vibe with familiar tunes given new life and country twang on the banjo, mandolin, guitar and bass.

Twelve teams competed in our cornhole tournament. Brian Rodriguez and Larry McNally of team McNally emerged victorious. Brian’s boards will proudly display his Denver sports allegiance with one Broncos and one Avalanche board, while Larry’s will showcase his love for the Chicago Cubs.

All in all, it was a beautiful spring day perfect for relaxed chats, heel-tapping music, culinary adventures and friendly rivalry.

We look forward to seeing everyone at next year’s “May Daze” and hope you’ll join us for more good times at Baseline throughout the summer. Checkout the Event’s Calendar to see what’s coming up next.
