Resources

After you’ve settled in, review these resources to help you get better acquainted with your new community.

Settling in

Services & utilities

Not sure who to call to set up services for your new home? Check out our services and utilities webpage. It’s your guide to navigate the utility and other services at Baseline.

Fill out this form to activate trash service for your new home. We recommend you submit the form no more than one week before your move-in date to avoid receptacles sitting outside for multiple days and the hassle of an inadvertent association violation.

Design review

The individuality of your home is key to neighborhood character, but we all have different tastes and styles. The design review process provides consistency in the quality of exterior home modifications that Baseline residents wish to make.

Read this blog to get a better understanding of why we have the design review process, then check out our Design Review page for full details, including the Design Review Application.

Pollinator District

You live in a certified pollinator district. Learn what that means, how to get involved in the annual pollinator count, and what your role is in helping to maintain pollinator habits at Baseline, on our Field Guide page.

Contact us

We — your Baseline Community Life team — are here to answer any questions you might have. Here’s a list of contacts in case you need to reach us.

Governance

Community governance

There are multiple nonprofit entities in place to help ensure the vision and integrity of the community stays intact. These organizations are distinct, yet complementary, each with the goal of keeping the lifestyle experience here at its best.

Read our governance overview to better understand each residential entity at Baseline, and who is responsible for what.

Community concern

As a resident, you can help keep your new community in tip-top shape by reporting issues that affect the whole community, like community landscape, park equipment, and compliance.

Just fill out the Community Concern form — include a photo of the issue and its location, if you can. Photos are a big help.

Community standards

Baseline has specific community standards on the books to keep our community (and your property value) desirable now and into the future. Read this blog to get an overview, then dive in for more information on our Community Standards page.

Stay informed & get involved

Community news & events

By registering for the website, you’ll automatically start receiving Baseline’s community newsletter, the B-line, in your inbox.

If you use Facebook, we encourage you to sign up for our resident group, Baseline: Community Life, too.

The newsletter and Facebook are the two best methods for staying current on community news and events. We share the same information in both places, so you may choose your preferred method of communication.

You can also find a summary of our annual events on our Celebrations page, and full event details on our events calendar.

Help us create more events that interest you by completing this New Resident Engagement Survey.

New resident events

We host several events each year to help new residents navigate their new community. Watch for them on our calendar and in our communications, they include:
Baseline Basics | our new resident info sessions
Connect at Checker Square | new resident socials

Join a club

Resident clubs help build neighbor-to-neighbor connections over shared interests and passions. Love to road or mountain bike? Does playing card games float your boat? Maybe brewing beer is your thing? We encourage you to join a club or start one.

Other important info

Emergency Alerts

Let’s be real. Wildfires, tornadoes, flooding, and other community emergencies are a reality in Colorado. When they happen nearby, we want fast notification. Stay in the know with real-time alerts from Broomfield’s emergency responders by signing up for LookoutAlert — Broomfield’s emergency alert system.

Renting your house?

Each time a new lease is signed on a property in Baseline, the homeowner or property management company must complete the new tenant registration form.

Snow Removal

In a master-planned community, snow removal is a community collaboration. If you are new to this type of neighborhood or Colorado, it can be challenging to understand who is responsible for what and when. Check out this article to get the 411 on snow removal at Baseline.
